Royals Fall Short Against Bluejackets
Cambridge-Isanti visited Rogers on Friday night and threatened to hand the Royals a second consecutive home loss by more than twenty points.  Once down 18 in the second half, the Royals roared back into the game and cut the Jackets' lead to just five.  C-I converted on big three-pointer baskets on their next several possessions to put the game out of reach as Rogers' comeback bid ran out of steam in the end.  The Bluejackets closed out the Royals 58-44 to move into third place by themselves in the Mississippi 8.  Rogers falls to 3-4 in the conference and 9-10 overall.

In the JV game, Rogers outlasted the Jackets by six in a tightly contested matchup.  The Royals freshmen cruised to a comfortable win over Cambridge-Isanti as well.

The Royals will travel to Annandale at 7:30 on Tuesday night for a nonconference game.  The freshmen and junior varsity will begin at 6:00.
