Boys Coaching Staff

Coach Rogahn begins his second year in the program coaching the freshmen team. He has been teaching Special Education at RHS for the last four years. Prior to that he taught and coached in Foley for three years.

He attended St. Cloud State and the University of St. Thomas.

Coach Rogahn is married to wife Amy. They live in Otsego and have two dogs, Joey and Chloe.

Coach Johnson begins his 6th year in the program coaching the sophomore team.

He graduated from Elk River in 1999 where he was a three sport athlete holding captainship in two sports. He went on to Wisconsin-Eau Claire and St. Cloud State where he pursued his passion for teaching and athletics. His coaching experience started early in his college career and he continues his passion for coaching at Rogers.

Currently, Coach Johnson is in his sixth year teaching physical education at Hassan Elementary School. He is married to wife Ericka.

They are expecting their first child at the end of November.

Coach Puppe enters his 9th year at Rogers High School as Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Coach.

He has been teaching Math in the school district for the last twelve years. Prior to that he taught and coached in Delano for three years. He attended college at St. Cloud State where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics Education and then went on to receive his Masters in Education from St. Mary’s University.

When not working with the basketball program he spends time with his family and enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Coach Puppe and his wife of eleven years, Tana have two boys Austin and Aaron.

Coach Puppe is looking forward to working hard to make Rogers basketball a first rate program.

Coach Belka enters 2011-12 in his 9th season as head coach. Belka led the Royals to a 19-9 record in 2010-11 and a 5AAA Section Runner-up. Last season the Royals finished third in conference play with a 12-4 record and received the #2 seed in section play. The Royals return one starter from last seasons team and are looking to contend in conference and section play. Before being named head coach in the spring of 2003, Belka spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Elk River High School.

Originally from Dilworth, Mn and a graduate of Mankato State University. Belka also earned his Master's Degree from St. Mary's University. Belka played basketball at Mankato State University where he was a four-time letter winner, captain, and all-conference. He also had the privilege of playing one year professionally in England.

Coach Belka is married to wife Rita. They live in Otsego and have two sons, Jordan and Peyton.

Coach Zeman begins his third year in the program coaching the freshmen team. He has been teaching English at Rogers High School for the past three years. He also is an assistant coach for the football and track teams at RHS.

Coach Zeman and his wife have a son Luke and are expecting their second child in March.

Coach Stock is a social studies teacher at Rogers Middle School.

He is a graduate of St. Cloud Apollo High School and St. Cloud State University. Prior to joining our staff he was an assistant at St. Cloud Apollo.

Coach Stock is very active in Minnesota AAU basketball as he has been the Minnesota Comets Elite 17U coach the past four years.
